Here you'll find more than a cheap, welcoming restaurant with a great reputation among Viennese students. Deewan brings you impressive Pakistani food and a trusting concept. Here's the deal... Help yourself at the buffet to as much as you want from the mouth watering range of meat and vegetarian curry dishes, along with salad, rice, naan, sauces and sweet rice pudding on offer as accompaniments. Load up your plate liberally, spread onto two plates if you wish, and make your way downstairs through the eclectically decorated warren of a building to take your seat in the large basement room with its chilled out student vibe. Jugs of water are provided as you tuck into the best value, best tasting meal that you're likely to find in the city. Then, if you can manage, go back upstairs and load your plate up again. And once you've finished and wiped the large grin off your face, head up to the till by the entrance to pay. But wait, there's no asking for the bill here! Ask them how much your food costs and they'll throw the question right back at you. The deal is that you decide how much to pay them, based upon your own impression of how much you've eaten. As a rule of thumb you'd pay between 3 to 5 euros. Choose 5 euros if you've stuffed yourself for a week; 3 if you've lunched on the light side. You decide!

So if you're in Vienna be sure to fill your belly cheaply and experience this great place with its unique and open atmosphere. As you'll see it's always packed. Honest food with honest pricing by satisfied customers. Good food, good mood indeed.
